Life of Lon Chicago Pre-Launch Tour

We're excited to announce that we have coordinated a number of demo events in the coming months to show gamers what to expect when we release Life of Lon to Steam this fall! If you live in the midwest anywhere near Chicago, here's the info you'll need:

Event #1: The Chivr Debut Meetup

The Creative Group will be hosting The Chicago VR Meetup on August 24th. You'll get to try a number of cutting edge VR demos on all of the newest hardware- the HTC Vive, the Oculus Rift consumer version and the Gear VR! Block Interval will be demoing Life of Lon on the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift CV1 with Oculus Touch. Free food and drinks will be provided!

Event #2: Tech in Motion Timmy Awards Ceremony

Block Interval will be demoing Life of Lon after the Timmy Awards.

Chicago’s 2nd Annual Timmy Awards is an award ceremony hosted by Tech in Motion, a national events organization for tech enthusiasts created by Jobspring Partners & Workbridge Associates. The Timmy Awards recognize companies and individuals that strive to create the best places for technology professionals to work in the Greater Chicago Area. The Timmy’s are presented in three categories: Best Technology Work Culture, Best Technology Manager and Best Tech Startup.

Event #3: Valorcon

Block Interval will be attending Valorcon- a Chicago gaming expo. We will have 2 HTC Vive demo stations showing Life of Lon in its near-release form! Try it out before it releases to Steam in the fall! Daniel Allen, Creative Director of Block Interval, will also be speaking on a panel about VR.
